St. John Medical Center (SJMC) is part of the Centers for Osteopathic Research and Education (CORE) through the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-HCOM). Approximately eighteen (18) third and fourth year OU-HCOM students are based at SJMC for the completion of their clinical rotations. SJMC also typically hosts three (3) Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine (DMU-COM) third year students for clinical rotations each year.
